Friday.....the end of my rope and I'm hanging on!

Whew!  It's Friday and I'm linking up with Mrs. 4444 for Friday Fragments.

********************************************'s official.......stress kills!  All my test came back negative, except for the one they were waiting on that I discovered they never ordered.  So after visiting three different doctors, one in a different town, the general consensus is I need to de-stress.  There is only one itsy bitsy, teeny problem with that,  I'd have to kill some people that I love to get rid of my stress.  So, my other option, is learn to live with stress, pray more and grab the end of life's rope and hang on for dear life!

In more pleasant news, the Superhero was talking to his mom on the phone the other night and was trying to tell her to come by his office after a luncheon group and he said "Just come after Pitty Pat"......I'm sure she was scratching her head as I was rolling on the floor laughing and trying to get out Petit Point......He was glad to give me a laugh!

You may or may not know that we traveled to see our son, DIL and grandson Charley last weekend.  I promise that post is coming.  The further south we went, the more love bugs spattered on our windshield!  In case you don't know what love bugs are go here.  I've never seen as many as there were there, we couldn't open the doors without several flying right into the RV and their house.  We had a discussion on the way home wondering how in the world they keep producing new generations when so many crash land on windshields.

It was a nice Mother's Day......the Superhero, his mom and I went to church and had a great time.  Later in the day, Tommy and the Superhero grilled steaks and all the fixings for us and we little women folk didn't have to lift a finger!

And.........this was waiting for me on the table in the RV on Mother's Day morning.  Now the Superhero isn't very romantic, but this meant the world to me!

The front just said Happy Mother's Day.  He got points for his sweet words and his ingenious card making skills!  Click to enlarge and read.

A few days before Mother's day, I got this big surprise delivered to my front door!!!!!

Beautiful roses and chocolates!
You may ask why they are in the bathroom???  Well, we have a cat who loves to eat flowers.  We put them where he can't get to them.

The change in eating habits is yielding good results.....I am now in a smaller size clothing and thankfully had saved a few of my favorite things from several years ago so I have a few things I can wear.  I'm packing up the bigger sizes and storing them because I know how quickly I can gain it all back!

And it's a wrap because as usual......I'm all fragged out!

That stinks about the doctors not ordering the right tests. It shows that they are only human, but egads.. why'd it happen to you? Grrr!

The flowers are lovely. The cat can't jump on the sink? I have one cat that is so large, she only lays around. The other cat is young and all over the place.

I think your hubby is a keeper! That is the sweetest card and more meaningful than a store bought card because he wrote the sweet words himself! The roses are beautiful and I know what you mean about flowers and cats. I have that problem, too.

Hope you have a lovely and stress-free Friday and weekend!

So sorry about your stress. Have your tried anti-anxiety pills? Maybe yoga! What a sweet note and lovely flowers. Way to go on the weight loss. Have a nice calm weekend. ((HUGS))

Maybe our cats (when we had them) were strange (ok, no maybe about it), but one of our cats liked to lay IN the sink and the other like to play with running water in the sink!

Graphic design means nothing next to the sentiment.

It sounds like you had a lovely time! So without giving you drugs you might want to try St John's Wart which you can get at Walmart or Relax Now which is what I take because I refuse to take more prescription drugs. If they are telling you to de stress you better do it and quick! i'm so happy you are losing weight and getting into your skinny clothes! Yeah! So proud of you!

I wrote a guest post last week for be Well Journal on the dangers of stress and how unresolved it can actually turn into disease.
I gave up worrying-it never changed a thing either way so I FINALLY got that it was a waste of time. Jesus was happy to have it when I gave it to him:)
The card is so sweet. I write little notes on my husbands napkins in his lunch..he gets so hurt if I forget to do it.
Have a Blessed weekend..

I came over because I totally identify with this post title! And also your consensus that the only way to de-stress is to kill some people - I SOOOO get this!!
Hope your health improves.
