Friday and 802.....

It's Friday and of course I'm late, but I'm sure you're getting used to that lately.  I don't know how the weeks pass so quickly, but it's Friday before I know it and that's my excuse!

If you have some left overs running around in your brain, join in Friday Fragments over at Mrs. 4444's (pronounced Mrs. Fours) and let us read about your week.

*****
Each and every day during the week when something happens, I think oh, that's a great thing to write for Friday Fragments, but when Friday actually gets here, I can't remember any of them.  So I'm wracking my brain here!  I'm sure it's because I'm getting up so early to walk with the Superhero and my brain is just permanently on tired!

*****

When I started this post, I noticed it was number 803!  That means I have written 802 posts since 2005.  If I start repeating things it will be no wonder!  The really sad thing is that I really haven't learned lots of new tricks skills.  I still can't make a blog button, I still can't figure out lots of stuff that most of you know how to do and I'm officially jealous!

This boy is sad because he's in trouble for barking all the time.....and I do mean all the time!  I was so tired of it this week that I loaded him in the car, took him to P*t S*art and said "HELP"!  I bought a bark collar and if you want to call the dog police go ahead, he needs a little jail time.  He's only had it on three times and although it doesn't HURT him, it does scare him and hurt his feelings.  I only put it on him when he's continually barking and then take it off.  Sometimes now all I have to do is show it to him and he stops which I'm taking as progress.

After today, there are only three days left of tax season.  Hallelujah!  The end of tax season is hard on everyone, the accountants and their families.  I have been taking supper to the Superhero every single solitary day for the last week and a half so that he would eat healthy.  I told him not to think I'm going to be making a habit of cooking, but he appreciates it and I'm actually glad to do something nice for him.

We went to a surprise birthday party for a man we know who was 99 on his birthday!  He still works half a day every day and goes to church on Sunday.  He's amazing.  Another dear friend of ours who just turned 90 was talking to her granddaughter who was praising her for how well she's doing at her age and was shocked when her Grandma said "yes, and I'm attending a cocktail party for a 99 year old tonight!"  They are both amazing.  I just hope I have a bit of my mind left at 90 if I make it that long.

Well, as fascinating as I know this is for you all, I need to get that supper going!  Hope everyone has a great weekend!

You have to get those ideas down. As soon as I have a random for Wednesday Hodgepodge I go and start the post. Just save it and keep adding as things come up. What I do first is set a date in advance so if I hit publish by mistake it won't publish yet. I can't make a button either but I had someone make mine. Our Skye is not a barker but my daughters dog is and I get very annoyed at times. I will not call the dog police on you. Hooray for only 3 more days. 99 and works part time....amazing. My dad will be 90 in June. I can't wait to see him. Have a great weekend.

When I was getting my hair done today, the mother of the hairdresser came in. She said she was lost and where was Cordova Mall. We told her and she was off to buy herself a new bedspread and was going to redo her bedroom....okay all, she is 90 years old....still driving(although directionally challenged), living alone and cooking meals for her daughter. I was so impressed!! I hope I am like that at 90....I am already directionally challenged so I am halfway there!!

I do the same thing with forgetting what I wanted to Frag about! Sometimes I compose a post, write a few frags out and then save it, but more often than not I forget to do THAT, too. lol
I totally support the bark collar, constantly barking dogs will drive anyone insane! I'm glad you're making progress.

We had neighbors whose dogs would bark and bark and bark and bark ... I thought about buying them bark collars! So no police being sent by me. ;-)

I'm so glad that the end is in sight for your hubby. I thought I'd be smart and not be a tax accountant so I wouldn't have to work all those long hours in March and April ... turns out corporate accounts work a lot of long hours, too ... at quarter-end and year-end. ;-)

803 posts! Wow, that is awesome. If you ever want me to make you a blog button, just let me know. I'd even love to teach you how to make one. :)

Aren't you sweet to deliver a home cooked supper to your fella. You will deserve some special dinners out after tax season. Speaking of which, we got our taxes mailed this week. Ouch!

803 posts! You're way ahead of me. I don't know how to do many things either. I'm trying to get brave and redo my sidebar. It really unnerves me to make changes.

Enjoy your weekend! I'm heading outside in a few minutes to help with some yard work.

I made a blog button but it was only once long ago so I forgot how to do it. That dog collar sounds mean, but I'm glad your dog stops barking now so you don't have to make him wear it.

God bless dog colors that discourage barking; I'd lose my mind.

Keep a notebook your purse for keeping track of tidbits; they'll add up quickly. That said, you did just fine with the fragments you came up with :)

End of tax season means our accountant will have time to complete our amended return. Maybe we'll get some money back!

I tell myself daily I need to remember something to blog about. If I don't put it in my notes on my cell right then, I never remember!
