This time forty three years ago, I was in the hospital awaiting the birth of my first child....ultrasounds were still a thing of the future so that afternoon, two doctors came in, felt my abdomen and pronounced that my baby weighed five pounds and they would induce the next morning......He weighed 3 lbs. 11 ozs. About as accurate as ultrasounds huh??

Tomorrow is also the Superhero's birthday. His office had a tailgate party for him today.

A sweet cousin recently found this photo and had a canvas made for my mama who is the last remaining sibling. This is the first time I've seen a photo of all the siblings together. After all the rain, we have had a few days of glorious sunshine. We took advantage of knowing we would have a beautiful sunset and went down to the marina and sat with and watched.
The wonder of God's creation!

My Grammy passed away in January and now that I think of it, I'm not sure I've ever seen a picture of her and all of her 8 siblings together... wonder if one exists?

Hey, food makes a party, I bet he had fun ;-) That is a great photo of your mom and her siblings!!! Love those old photos!! Why on earth did they induce for such a small baby?? That must be an interesting story! You look amazing for having a child that age, seriously!!!
That was one small baby, I thought I was a small baby at 4lbs.......having the old photo done as a canvas was such a lovely idea, I bet she loved it.Like the others I thought the sunset photo was great

My hubs birthday was Sunday. We spent the weekend on my sister's boat, and he got to waterski which made his day. Hope your boy and superhero had great days too!
