Time is still flying around here!
It actually started last week with a great visit from some friends who brought their children to swim. One of the things I love is watching children playing happily in the pool.....and if you ever talk to my husband be sure to remind him because he'd just as soon fill it in....YIKES!
Isn't this a sweet picture of them all about to jump in together. ....well, some of the little ones just stayed on the deck.
It was a fun morning of swimming and catching up.
The next night we had a overnight visit from some friends that we also don't see so often.
Carol came over to seethem all Maddie. She's adored that sweet girl since she was born.
Can't leave out Charlie and mother Nikki and of course the dogs!
I got my hugs too
They had so much fun in the pool, even got Jack on the float....that was really something!
Eventually Charlie was tired and snuggled up with Mikey to watch a little tv.
While sister Maddie was getting her hair combed out.....tangles you know!
We had a fun time and hope it won't be so long until we see them again.....next time with Don!
We finally found a day when three of us long term friends could get out and have some fun. We got pedicures....
We had dinner at a little place downtown @Zachary's. It was good food and we laughed about everything.
We finally told the waiter that we'd leave if he would take out picture and I sure wish I had been sitting up straight!
I'll bet most of you couldn't take a night of such wildness!
David had a birthday! My thirty four year old loves chicken enchiladas so we had a small dinner with David and his wife Arwen and Matt. It was small.....stepdaughter, Devin had to work and hubby had a meeting. We had a good time anyhow!
David showing off his birthday cookie cake.
Arwen and David
David and mama
Arwen and David again.....they are our newly weds and seem very happy.

I think there should probably be a drum roll here. I made Russell a Facebook page as a joke......you know so that he could write sweet things to me without actually having to think up and write them himself.
Well, apparently, I didn't fill out his info to his satisfaction so the man who was never having anything to do with fb was sitting in bed straightening out his page! I had to laugh out loud!
The dogs were highly outraged because he's supposed to play with them at bedtime!
Finally, last night we took MIL over to Destin to have her very late birthday dinner. We had a good time and a great meal.
That about ends this round of busyness. I want to slow down just for a few minutes.
Have a wonderful Sunday tomorrow. I hope you are all attending worship somewhere! Maybe we'll see you there!

The little ones always enjoy the pool so much, don't they? My DH feels the same way as yours about the pool. We had one in the last house and he refuses to have one here. I just love to look out at the peaceful scene of water myself. Oh well.
It looks like you had a great time at being busy, but I can appreciate that you would like to have a little quiet time now. I hope you get it.
What a lot of fun things. The summer has just flown - school starts in 10 more days. Hard to imagine!
I love it that your hubby is fixing p his FB page. Dwight has one, but rarely checks on it.

looks like fun was had by all! I love the picture of Russell with his computer on the bed and your computer right beside him waiting for you to get in bed so ya'll could play on computers side by side.
Yes, Cathy.....we're just romantic like that! :)
Looks like you have been filling your days with so many fun things and memories! Exactly what they were meant to hold!
As for the facebook page, too funny!
I think you have more fun than about anyone I know! All the kids lined up on the edge of the pool looked like a Swimming Class. LOL
What a fun weekend...I'm tired just reading it all :-)
Hugs!
So much fun!
And that man of yours on the computer...you might
have created a monster LOL. Mine has yet to touch a
computer but is using a cell phone like a pro.
I love the sight of all those children jumping in!
Your son is very handsome! Love his cookie cake. Love the FB story, too - hoho! Maybe he'll write really nice things about you, too... do you have a chlorine pool? If so, wwitch to salt water - they're practically sweat-free. Dump it in, leave it alone.
Nancy! its been a while that I have been on my blog and browsing blogs, You look so sweet in your pictures! especially the one on your blog, I love it :) have an awesome day and weekend
You were so busy. Love the shot of the kids on the edge of the pool. I miss our pool. Had one for 17 years, Mark didn't want one at this house. I really miss it!!!
Fun times with you friends. Happy Birthday to your David. That's funny about the Facebook and I can see the dogs were waiting to play!
I love the fact that you made a nail tech take your picture. Hilarious!
Wow, you've been a busy girl!
If you're coming this way to do some shopping, let me know. Maybe we can meet for coffee or lunch.
Hugs,
Kat
