Friday Fragments.....and another week is history

It's been a nice week, but busy.  Oh, wait, that's every week!  Anyhow, I'm late but joining up with Mrs. 4444 for another edition of Friday Fragments.

My brain is really fried, so these will just be random thoughts.  As if I'm not always random!  The Superhero spent the day in the woods last weekend and brought me these wild flowers AND arranged them in this vase.  Isn't he sweet??

Speaking of the Superhero, he's now lost about 55 pounds and looks so great!  I wish I had taken a picture of him because he's so hot he sizzles!
Did a sixty year old woman really just say that on her G rated blog???

I was in a store with a friend and she was buying candles.  I never burn candles in my house for fear I'll burn my house down, but this is called a Pottery Bowl and doesn't burn but puts out a wonderful smell, so I decided to try one and so far it's nice.  Although my house is sort of open so I probably need three or four and that's not happening because they aren't cheap.  But they're pretty and smell good!

Welcome Meredith Mae!  Gorgeous girl born to my friends, Katie and Beau and welcomed home by big sister, Anna Cross.  I can't wait to see her in person.  If you are reading this, Katie, you need to get more pictures up of this little sweetie!

Last, but my no means, least......I was just contemplating doing a blog on having no control and how hard that is on a control freak, when I spotted this in the paper.  It just says it all!  Enlarge and read and you'll understand just what I mean, especially if you're like me and you just want everybody to be happy and think they would be if they'd just listen to you.....or me as the case may be.

Have a great weekend and go on over and meet some new friends!

Yes he is sweet, I love wild flowers. New babies are the best.
Congratulations to your friends.
So are you saying the leaves on the ground bother you? Enjoy your weekend.

Congrats to your friends on their new baby. Love new babies! Your hubby is definitely a keeper! And I can definitely relate to the comic - I am definitely a Lucy - in so many ways! If only others would just listen! Ha!

Nancygrayce, girlfriend!

I saw in a comment you left on someone's FF post that you couldn't get this post linked up, so I linked it up for you. Had to use a generic photo, but otherwise you're good to go.

I HOPE I didn't overstep my "bounds of friendship" by doing this - - - my INTENT was for "two old gals" like us to stick together.

Is that a new grandbaby or just a friend? Either way, new babies are always a blessing. Cannot wait for my niece to arrive in January!

Dear Nancy, I loved the Peanuts/Lucy strip. And it's so true, "We just can't tell them anything!" At least that's what those of us who want to control think. Meniere's Disease pretty well striped me of the thought that I could control anything.

The flowers your husband brought home from the woods are lovely. And like you, I don't burn candles because I'm so absent minded that I truly could burn the house down.

I do so enjoy your friday rambles! Peace.
