Christmas is creeping up on me!

I'm in my post Thanksgiving......pre wedding and Christmas phase.  What does that mean?  That I'm going crazy and as my DH says "short trip"!

I have started putting my Christmas stuff out, but it's in between taking clothes out of the closet, trying to decide what to take on our trip, putting them back in and starting all over again!

O.K. this is my favorite because if not for this, no Christmas!

DH got the tree up and I threw some ornaments on!  I decided not to use everything this year...and oh, yes, the angel that I've had for about 20 years isn't on either....Russell has to put that one on the tree.  I don't like the is our second hand me down tree....maybe if I'm a good girl this year, Santa will let me get a really new one!  But in all it's glory, here it is....

Really, it looks better at night!

Every year my MIL gives us a Santa.  This is only half the boys' favorite.  Two are gators and two are seminoles.

This is the newest Santa, you may be able to tell since the tag is still on!  I didn't realize that until after I took the picture and at this point in the game, I just can't worry about a tag!

This is Santa holding the Nativity scene.  I love that!  I have several of the kneeling Santas.

I know that a lot of people don't like the whole Santa thing, but I love Santa.....although he hasn't really been to see me in a long time!!  Maybe because I don't put out cookies and milk?

These Santa plates are new this year!  I got them the day I met Tonja going into the same store where we were both going to shop!  It's really true!  Great minds think alike!

I have a few more things out, but I have got to get to packing that motor home!

What to wear, what to wear!?

Well, I am taking too much and it will probably be all the wrong stuff.....I wish I was better at this.

That's always the question, isn't it?

I love the new Santa with the Nativity set. I love my Nativity sets, but I, too, love Santas.

I can't remember where you said you're going for the wedding??

I am just now getting to the tree - taking me days to get it done. I wonder what will happen when the littles see it all together. They loved it with just the lights.

Have a wonderful trip, a beautiful wedding, and a blessed time with loved ones! It'll all still be there for you when you get back!

Enjoy your trip, the wedding...

I love your decorations and of course, the Nativity. Where would we be without our sweet Savior?

But I love your Santas too! My Sweet Hubby and I started a Santa collection for our daughter when she was 16. She still gets one every year on her birthday - December 2nd - and looks forward to her new addition with much anticipation! She just turned 32...

The decorations look great! We got a tree when MG, Mikey, and Grady were here. Brian and Mikey set it up and we planned on decorating. Well, the tree looks beautiful, but still has no ornaments on it! My mom will be here tomorrow so I am sure we will get it done then. I know you will all have a great time at the wedding. I am so sad that the girls and I can't travel yet! At least Brian will get to attend.

Look at you, getting ready to go on a trip and still have decorations out. I am going nowhere and have barely started. You Go girl!

I have a kneeling santa. I should keep an eye out for one like you have with Santa holding the nativity. I've not seen that one before.
