Linking up with Mrs. 4444 today for....
The last several weeks I haven't participated in Friday Fragments even though I was fragmenting my way through the whole time, I was just way too busy having fun with grands to type a lot.
So today here are some very random thoughts for your reading pleasure.
As of today, I have officially lost 25 lbs. People it was hard, hard work and took more will power than I thought I possessed. I feel better and I think I look better. So this is a little bit of advice......
Never, ever, ever say to a person who has been working hard to lose weight "you don't need to lose anymore weight! You are starting to look too thin and old".....now when I was gaining weight.......and was quite the pro at it I might add......not one single, solitary person EVER said....."you don't need to gain any more weight, you are starting to look FAT!" Just a little observation.
***************************
Having lots of family visit is wonderful.......except for the washing sheets and towels in between. Also, when everyone is gone, you have a few days of let down.
**********************
We have a great walking/biking path near our home and while walking yesterday, someone coming up behind me on the road yelled "stop" and of course got the desired result when I jumped and almost had a heart attack! Not nice!
********************
I've had a very sick husband, and also discovered how to get served quickly in a very crowded lab. We walked in and looked around......I then said to the lady at the desk "I'm pretty sure he's very contagious".......he got his tests within five minutes. Win!
********************
I hope you all have a great weekend!
Because quite frankly?
I'm all fragged out!

I am totally trying that "I might be contagious" thing the next time I'm waiting forever at the lab. :) Have a great weekend!
I weigh an average weight for my frame now, but a while back I was quite thin. I couldn't believe how people commented on my weight. Folks would never do that to a fat person!
"Oh, is that all you're eating?" Would never be asked, "Oh, you're eating that much?"
Congratulations on your loss. Do what's healthy for your body and soul!
I.Am.So.Impressed.
How long did it take you to lose the weight?
Did you do a particular diet or use any type of aid?
I'm on WW's and it is going S-L-O-W!
I saw pictures of you on FB (or prev. Posts, can't remember which) and you look GREAT!! Don't listen to anyone who says differently. Congrats!
25#??? That is awesome!!!! Congratulations. I am sure that it has been hard, but I'll bet you are thrilled with the progress.
Loved the idea for the lab wait. Pretty soon everyone is going to be using that excuse!
My grans go home tomorrow. While they have been a joy and great fun to have for 11 days, I must confess I'm looking forward to having my own house and life back!
Congrats on the weight loss! A nice accomplishment!
Congrats on the weight loss! And I'm going to try to remember that "very contagious" trick the next time I need it!
Congratulations on the weight loss! Are you wanting to lose more? When I lost my weight, I had a number of people tell me that I was getting too thin. I've noticed that most of those who say that could stand to lose some weight themselves. Hmmmm ... coincidence? I think not. ;-)
I think I would have peed in my pants on the walking path ... but then I startle SO easily! ;-)
Congrats on your weight loss!
Hoping your husband feels better soon. Doing the beds is always the hardest for me. Have a great weekend and Happy 4th of July.
Oh. I might have to use the contagious thing next time. :)
Congrats on the weight loss. I know how hard it is, trust me! I've had so many people tell how how GOOD I look. I'm beginning to wonder how bad I was before! Keep up the good work!
Congratulations on the weight loss. I am going to remember to use your contagious idea the nect time we go to the lab although ours has a number service and moves fairly quickly.
CONGRATS on the weight loss. It is very hard work so good for you!
Hope your hubby is feeling better soon! But like the "contagious" route to get served and back home sooner. *grin*
How fun that you've had family. Hoping you get the rest you need in the "in between's".
They said STOP???? OMWord Girl!! You just be safe on those walks!
And Look at YOU!! 25 pounds! I'm SO happy for you!!!
Enjoy the weekend!!

I like your style....I will have to remember that next time in the Drs. office. I don't like the long wait...and it seems that our time is not of anyone's concern. Making note to myself...."I'm contagious".
Oh, I know just what that's like when out walking and enjoying the peace and quiet and someone coming up behind you....it does startle you!!!!
Congratulations on the weight loss. That's incredible.
Congrats on the weight loss! I'm just back from Disney and at the opposite end of the scale... feeling yucky!
Excellent technique at the lab!
