Friday Fragments on Thursday....

I usually wait until Friday to do my Friday Fragments post, but tomorrow is going to be a busy day.........which was so busy it turned into today!

Thank you to Mrs. 4444 for hosting Friday Fragments.  Go on over and join in the Friday party.

Busy because it's my mama's 89th birthday! No big party this year, but those of her children who are in town will have lunch with her and we're having cake and ice cream......because really, what kind of birthday doesn't have cake!?

Today mama asked if tomorrow was her 88th birthday and I replied no.....89 and she just said HMMPH!
Happy Birthday, Mama!!

Does anybody else just hate having sudden car problems?  My car has a thingy added by the Superhero and his cohort......our next door neighbor......that does whatever it has to do that enables us to pull the car behind the motorhome.  Get all that???  This week it started making a noise, a bad noise.  Tomorrow after the party, I'll have to take it to a mechanic to see if they can MAKE IT STOP fix that pesky noise.  Fun times!

*****************

Someone......you know who you are.....said I was their inspiration for starting a diet and exercise plan!   I'm happy to see others jumping on the "get fit" wagon!

********************

We've been having sunny days that are cool in the mornings.  Feels like Fall in Florida!  That means it's time to break out the blue jeans!  No sweaters for a while, not that cool!

******************

I'm very sad about the attacks on American Embassies, and especially sad about the loss of lives.  When any American is attacked, we are all attacked.  I hope you'll all join me in praying for our country!

Have a great weekend!

Happy birthday to your Mama.....she looks wonderful.
Yes, sudden car problems (and sudden computer problems) make me crazy because I have no idea how to fix them.

Happy Birthday, Mama!

It has been down in the 40's here in the mornings, I'm beginning to think of retiring my capris and flip flops for the winter, but I'm putting it off a little longer. I do love my capris and flip flops!

Happy 89th birthday to your mom. It sounds like a perfect party for her.

Good luck with the car repairs. I really dislike those pesky things.

Praying with you.

Happy Birthday to your mom! I know the car thingy of which you speak... my car, while I don't need to tow it, nor have the thingy, could have it if I wanted it!

Mine still is not fixed after paying $600... random sensors go off on the dash... I have a short somewhere!

Happy birthday to your Mama!! She doesn't look 89, for sure (not 88, either - LOL).

Our first several days here in the Outer Banks were very fall-like. I'd be tickled if I were home ... but when I'm on the beach, I want warm weather ... I want to be able to wear at least capris and definitely flip flops! Thankfully the last couple of days have been warm enough for capris and flip flops - HAPPY HAPPY!

Dear Nancy, I'm the one who said you inspired me to lose weight. I joined Weight Watchers three weeks ago and have lost five pounds!

Thank you for sharing the news of your mom's 89th birthday. She looks so cheerful in that red dress. Peace.

Hope your mama had a happy day! My mama's 84th birthday is in 2 days. I wish I was there to czlbrate with her. That is the lonesome part of being a missionary...missing those family moments! Happy thought...we WILL have all of eternity to share, though! Great post, Nancy!

Happy 89th Birthday to your Mama!
Yes I hate having sudden car issues and it is normally when my hubby is away on business. Thank you very much!!! The attacks scare me. I am tired of us helping people and they don't appreciate what we do for them. It's time to get out and worry about our own country. I will join you in prayer.
