It's Thursday and I'm actually working on my Friday Fragments post. Even though I have a thousand things I need to be doing, I took a break to jot things down before I forget them....
If you have an overload of bits and pieces of the week floating around, go on over to Mrs. 4444's (pronounced fours) place and join in the brain dump party!
That didn't work out so well! It's now Friday afternoon and I'm just finishing up my post! Oh, and I didn't do those thousand other things I needed to do either!
If you recall my answer to Question #18 on yesterdays "48 Questions", this relates to that....
I was sitting in bed watching the Superhero get ready for work and said this .....
If God shut the mouths of the lions for Daniel don't you think He can shut mine?.....The Superhero's reply?
Now, THAT would be a real miracle!
It made me smile.....and think....lucky for you that dimple is so cute or I'd have to smack you. He's cute isn't he??

I got to make copies of some precious photos this week....
This is my daddy's mama.....we called her Cmama
The house daddy's family lived in in Moultrie, GA. I took a photo of this house when daddy took us by when we were leaving Moultrie after Cmama's funeral, but this is the old picture. It hasn't changed much. On the porch are Daddy's parents with some of their children.....daddy was the baby in this picture.

Old family photos are fascinating to me and I don't ever tire of going through albums.

Last weekend I went to a great bridal shower in Pensacola at the Lee House Bed and Breakfast in the beautiful historical district. If you are ever in the area and want to stay in a beautiful B & B, I would recommend the Lee House.
Mother of the bride
The Bride

It was a beautiful shower and I got to spend the weekend with my sisters which was a treat.

I'll leave you with this thought. I have prayed daily for a long time for God to take care of a certain thing.....but I don't think I truly felt that He would....well yesterday He showed me that He shows up when our own plans fail. He is faithful when I am not!
Hebrews 11:1
Have a great weekend everyone!

"They" say....whoever they is...that it's better late than never. Getting to your Fragments on Friday, no matter what time on Friday, works for me. ;o)
I love looking through old photos too. Last year, after 25 years of research, I finally had a 300+ page of genealogy work published. And I can't still not stop and take a look at it and all the photos I had printed on pages of memories. And stuff I never saw or who I never met ---back to the 1700s.
Love your photo shares and your Friday commentary. "Miracles" aside. [insert wink]
I love old family photos
what a place for a shower..wow!!
and yes...i pray for certain things and have learned to depend on His faithfulness...
have a happy weekend!
I love looking at family photos and enjoy looking at other's photos too. Hee-Hee, you set yourself up for that one.

Loved the old family photos, I love the old ones too.
Keeping you in my prayers sweet friend!
Have a blessed weekend....
Hugs!
Glad your prayers have been answered. I am in the same situation, but it is not time yet for the thing to be taken care of, I just keep praying that it will. The person I am praying for needs of it to go their way.
Hooray for answered prayers!
The pictures are so cool and that house looks wonderful. Enjoy your weekend.
praise God for answered prayer!
I love the historic district of Pensacola ... and that B&B sounds divine.
As you may know I love old photos so the one of your daddys family is amazing
Love that surprise answered prayer!!
That house is incredible..what a great design.
Dear Nancy, thank you for the reminder that we cannot control much of what happens in our lives. We need, as a friend often tells me, "to go with the flow" and trust the Universe. Peace.
