I'm so glad it's today!

Because yesterday I had vertigo!  My friend Sheryl has it a lot, so yesterday she was on my mind.  It's horrible, if you've never had that dizzy feeling, don't be jealous.

I don't know how or why it started.......I have had vertigo a few times, but this was a doozy of a dizzy.  I was just doing laundry like a really good wife, looked up and wham, that was it! I ran to my bed laid flat on my stomach with my head hanging down.  Is that a pretty picture or what.  Thankfully, I have no pictures.

When I was able to get to my meds, take them, lay perfectly still for what seemed like forever, I tried turning over on my back and that was a terrible idea!  That made the throwing up start.  So once I was able to get back in bed I didn't try that again.  I finally slept and woke up somewhat o.k.

Today.....I've been fine, thank you Lord!

Sheryl, you have my daily prayers sister!

Are your meds for vertigo? I've had it before, and it's not fun.

Over Labor Day weekend, my younger son was sick. That Sunday night he came up to me and said he felt like he was going to black out. Then he said he was going to be sick. I sent him toward the bathroom. Before I could catch up with him, he hit the floor hard. Scared me to death! I can't believe he didn't have any bumps or bruises from the fall. We think he just hadn't eaten enough that day since he wasn't feeling well. Scary though!

Glad you're feeling better!

Blessings, Leslie

Thanks Sheryl, but I couldn't stay upright long enough to be at the computer!

I have only had vertigo once but it lasted for several days. I NEVER want to have that again. I never knew a room could spin so much!

I hope you are much, much better! Take good care of yourself. And, just let that laundry wait.

Oh dear, but that is an awful feeling. Hope you are all better now.

My mom has been dealing with dizziness for weeks now - they said vertigo, but they don't really know. They're running all sorts of tests.

I'm glad it's over. Sounds horrid!

do you know why you have vertigo? Does your blood pressure drop? low sodium? ear infection? You really need to check that out. You don't have to live like that. Praying for you. Sarah
