At long last.....I made the honor roll!

SEVERAL days ago, I was so honored to get this award from Debby over at Just Breathe!
Thanks Debby, I appreciate it more than you know because I don't believe I've ever been on the honor roll in my entire life!

That's right, folks....I was a very average student.  If I had any chance of being on an honor roll, it would have been for talking and socializing in class!  But unfortunately, they didn't honor me for my one amazing gift in school....I don't know why!?

The bad and sad thing about me is that I cannot pick out people to give these awards to.....so if you feel you are an honor roll blogger and you follow me, please feel free!  And if you want to follow the rules, as obviously, I never can, go on over to Debby's place to get the rules!

Thank you so much Debby!  I'm sorry it took me sooooo long.

Your so funny. I never made the honor roll either in school. I made it through school because I had the sweetest smile and the teachers liked me :) So basically I am unlearned! Thanks for the mention.

I never made it either. Until I was in Jr. College. It was when I was buckling down really hard...I was taking Theater and Art and Golf. ;) It was even in the newspaper. I cut it out and saved it cause I knew it would never happen again. I was right.

I made the honor roll, but, really, what good did it do me?? I got married at 18 and never went on to college.......

I was always on the honor roll in High School..never had to study.. learning came so easy for me!
so easy I became bored and quit school in the 11th grade..DUMB!
got my diploma via GED!
got married at 18..
never went to college..
but..I may not have the magic diploma which says I attended and passed courses at an institution of higher learning, I do have a degree from the college of hard knocks...
I manage to hold my own when dealing/dining with foreign Dignitaries, can entertain Admirals at a moment's notice, shop in a Spanish Mercado outside Madrid, know what words and gestures NOT to use while in Instabul,Turkey..
can win children over with a smile and my camera..dogs and cats love me..
so I don't think I've done too badly..
warmest hugs..

I have to say that I was one of those who loved being on the honor roll. But sadly didn't make the National Honor Society, which broke my heart when my friends did - I thought I was as qualified as they were. Oh, well, it's good to have some heartbreak at an early age so you get used to it in life, eh???

Went to college - did well there, too, for all the good it did me - I never regretted it, but haven't used my degree very much - but sure have used the other things I learned there!

Congrats on the award!

By the time you hit the real world social skills are more important than your report card. So you probably majored in the right things. Glad you got an award it's always fun. Stella

You probably did in school sometime!!!You have forgotten!!!
it is nice to be honored!!!!
I choose though to be an award free blog as I do it for the love of showing my long distance family what we do!!!
But it's ok enjoy your award!!!!
I was never on the honor roll in high school, I was to busy making friends and being social, but I did in elementary school!!!!Does that count???
