Just a few....

minutes to tell a little about our visit with Granddaughter Ashley so far.

She's beautiful and so much fun.
She got in late and we picked her up from the airport.

Growing up hasn't changed her love of the pool

Jack doesn't really like to swim, but he found he had no choice!

Uncle David is so glad to see his neice

Nana loves her hugs

We do have a sad thing this trip.  Our grandson Adam wasn't able to come be with us.  He didn't do well enough in school and that was something he had to do to come to Florida!  But we MISS him so much and hope he will get to come in the fall.

We went to Chi* f*l a and it happened to be Cow Day.

Ashley's friend sent a boyfriend charm with her......like her Nana is going to let her find a boyfriend!  HA!

Boys, you might as well stay away.....Nana's prayers always work and charms never work!  We're holding out for a great Christian man....after college!  :)

We're having a great time and I have lots more pictures but for some reason they won't upload tonight.  So I'll go sit by the pool where the mermaid granddaughter is swimming....again!  She loves the swimming.

How very special your grandson must feel.....that you would take a moment to assure him of your love.
Have fun and be safe.

I loved seeing all the fun you're having with Ashley and yes, it must be hard not having Adam with you too. I loved your written photo message to him! I'm thinking you and Ashley must share a common sense of humor. Moo!

Sounds and looks like a great time. I know you miss Adam, but it's nice to be one on one. I wish I could do that once in awhile - just one girl at a time! I'm giving Kristen that opportunity these last two weeks while the big girls take turns being at camp - I keep the twins so she can have an alone day with one of the others.

I love your comment about prayer versus charms! So true. She is lovely and loves you!

Isn't she BEAUTIFUL??? Look at the glow on her face - wow. Love the pool shots - my son's dog doesn't like swimming either - they make him float on a boogie board and if it gets anywhere near the side, he's outta there! I hate that Adam didn't get to come.

It looks like the two of you are having a great time together. Sorry that Adam could not join her this time.

She is a gorgeous girl. Good luck keeping those boys away!!!!

Had a good time visiting with you all for a few hours. Wish we could see Ashley and her whole family more often.

She is beautiful! Looks like you girls are having a good time. Good for Adam's parents for sticking with the rules although I know you miss him. I bet his grades will be better next year.

Hugs,
Kat
