Christmas Joy

Today was a day of joy!

Go here to see one of our joys! I can hardly wait to get my arms around this new little bundle of joy. We waited anxiously all day for Grady Michael to arrive! He made his appearance around 5pm!

Mama invited Russell and me to eat with her Christmas dinner. We enjoyed being there so much and had a great time!

The tables were so pretty.

There was music! These two played the harp and flute; the music was beautiful!

There was eating! Here's mama, me and Russell enjoying our dinner.

There was CAKE!!!! What more could a body need?

Now that dinner's over, I believe it is time for a nap!

Matt and his laundry came from school, flying low and just got to his dentist appointment! He's home for a few days for Christmas break.

This after noon I went up to the hospital to sit with Linda for a little while. Her son has been in ICU for two weeks. His kidneys and liver are beginning to function, but he has bilateral pneumonia. He was intubated for a few days and is now on a bi pap...I'm not sure about the spelling of that machine, but it forces air into his lungs. Things are real touch and go right now, so I appreciate your prayers!

It looks like it was a lovely dinner and everyone looks so happy.

Ahhh, yes....I remember the loads of laundry the kids brought home. I don't miss those days. Now they come home with clean clothes in their suitcase.

This is a tough time to be hospitalized. I am glad to hear the returning function of his organs. That is good news. I pray the pneumonia clears up now. Could the breathing be assisted by I-PAP (intermittent positive airway pressure)?

Have a great weekend.

Maybe that's what they call it I-PAP...I'm not sure! Thanks!

To dear Nancy,

Thank you so much for your kind words recently, and letting me know a bit about you.

What wonderful pics ... looks like a great dinner!!

I am sorry about my swearing ... it's the same when I share in a meeting. It's like, I have given up so much "bad" stuff in my life, it's one of my last remaining vices. Will try to tone it down!

I love the name of your blog, and I'm about to look in my bible if it is from Job.

:)

Merry Christmas!

Sweet little baby boy!

Dinner sounds like fun with your mom.

Time is flying - our company is about to arrive here at our house - 16 people arriving in minivan caravan to spend a whole week. What joyful chaos is ahead!
