Special thanks to Jennifer for writing step by step easy instructions for linking. Now no promises that I'll be able to do it time and time again, but it's a start! Thanks!!!!!
This is something I've had a very hard time with also. Just YESTERDAY I learned how to do it the EASY way. On the posting form there is a little tool at the top for linking. The tools up there are font, font size, bold, italics, font color, and the next one is the linking font.
When you are making your post, type your words INCLUDING the word, words you want to be the link (like "Keetha's Place") Then highlight them. Next click that link tool and a form will pop up that starts http// and you just add the rest of the URL. Voila - - - you are linked!!! So much easier than remembering all that html stuff.
Is this the way Jennifer just taught you? Probably, I'm one of the last to catch on to these things!!!
