National Day of Prayer

Our leaders may ignore it,

unbelievers may abhor it,

but today Christians all over the world

Will lift hands and hearts to our God

praying for our nation,

our families, our friends,

our churches, our schools.

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2nd Chronicles 7:14

Amen. I am so sad that the president says he will "pray by himself as he does every day." I wonder who he prays to. So sad.

Sadly, I forgot today is the National Day of Prayer until I saw a few bloggers mention it! Boy, what Dawn said is sad! And, like her, I wonder who President Obama prays to.

Blessings, Leslie

It was very sad to hear that our president didn't think it worthy of hosting. Sad, sad, sad.

Amen......great post. What a shame it is that our president cannot acknowledge that it is National Prayer Day.
