Tuesday or maybe Wednesday!

That's how brain dead I am. I can't even think of a title. I'm not sure where yesterday went, but so far today I am trying to be a teeny bit productive! I walked this morning at the walking track. I didn't ride my bike there because they're doing road work and it is dangerous hard to get around those big swinging machines. But I did walk a couple of miles. Now if I can just stay away from food!

I'm trying to clean out closets a little bit at the time. I'm so ashamed that I'm not organized and everything in it's place. Last night my husband was looking for a hammer to fix a picture for my mama and of course, we couldn't find one. He asked very sweetly if I ever put anything in the same place twice. UMMMMMM.....I'll have to think about that one. No.

Since this is just a random post.....let me introduce you to my Cmama. My daddy's mother pictured here with my two oldest boys! She was such a talented woman! She did lots of crafts and made ceramics....she had a kiln in the garage and poured her own molds. (my sisters and cousins may correct me if this memory is wrong!)

Cmama was also a card player, playing canasta and solitaire without a computer! She had a card shuffler which was fascinating to me as a little girl!

Below are the bowl and cup she made when my oldest was born. I've pictured the bottom of the cup where she put his birthday and name. I have always treasured these!

Gotta run and get busy! I'm having company today and tonight, then leaving right after Bible study tomorrow to spend a couple of days with OLDDDDD girlfriends in Destin.

The little cup and bowl are so sweet. They are a true keepsake.

Don't we all wish we were more organized? My problem is putting something in a "safe" spot and never finding where that safe spot is again. Grrrr!

Wish I could say I was walking or exercising or something...but I'm not. Hopefully, when school is out next week, I can get busy! Have fun in Destin.
