There has been a major tragedy!

This morning as I tried to turn on my computer, it blew up.....I don't know how else to explain what happened. My monitor wouldn't come on, so I tried to manually shut the computer down to restart. When I pressed the shutdown button, my computer started blowing something, not smoke, but like a fan in the back was blowing....o.k. dust. It was blowing DUST! Because that's what I have the most!

Anyway, I called husband immediately at work and told him he either had to come home or send his computer man here, to which he replied calmly (which irritated the snot out of me)......honey, he works another job and comes here at night and weekends.....to WHICH I REPLIED.....WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT, HIS JOB OR MY COMPUTER????? My husband told me to go lay down with a cold compress and he would look at it when he gets home at 6 o'clock tonight!

Only, I can't lay down. I'm leading a Bible study at 11 a.m. My notes are on my computer.

Just another day in the life.

Oh I hope you were able to get your notes for the Bible study. I know you are "chomping at the bit" to get back your computer. I assume that you wrote this post some way with access, so I pray Bible study went well and you are back in business. Better days ahead...Love, Anniette

I got my new lappy at Best Buy for a very reasonable price. They have many brands and when I told them what I wanted to do with my computer they gave me good advice about which kind to get. Best of all, they will issue a credit card and if your purchase is over a certain dollar amount (a computer is over that amount) you have a year to pay it off with no interest.

Mine is almost paid off.

Oh yah - - - I feel your pain about not having a computer when you want/need one.

Another thing about getting your own lappy - - - it's really nice to have a computer that no one else uses and loads up with their junk.
